ROSETTE PRINT SILK DRESS, AW10-11

ANTHROPOLOGIE / EK JAM FACTORY

From a former Victorian jam factory, Eley Kishimoto’s South London studio continues to create individual and unique products with a tradition of craft that is always heartfelt. Appropriately for this union, the name JAM FACTORY connotes notions of labour, collaboration, relationship and action, all with the sole unifying ambition of preserving the creative fruits of Eley Kishimoto’s labour..

Anthropologie extended it's unique and individual concept stores to the UK in 2009 with a flagship store on Regent Street soon followed by Kings Road and a further expansion plan. Under the new label EK JAM FACTORY Eley Kishimoto offered exclusive limited edition signature sillouettes, prints and patterns.

For AW 09/10, 4 key pieces; Lattice print cotton trench, Rosette print silk dress, merino wool Mushroom cardigan, lambswool Fairisle tunic dress.
This was followed by more exciting styles for SS 10. Silhouettes and details; peter-pan collars, colour blocking, contrast trimmings and easy fitting. Maintaining bold use of colour with pastels against stripes, navy and black, and, prints ‘tropical flower’, ‘red swift’ and ‘Hawaii’, versatile and easy, but striking for the confident summer shopper.

Maintaining a recognisable Eley Kishimoto identity, the ranges consist of key items that stand alone as one off pieces, in keeping with Anthropologie’s treasure-trove-finds aesthetic and philosophy.
