The strong golden pale ale initially baptised “Victory Ale” to commemorate the end of the First World War was described during a tasting by local shoemaker Van De Wouwer as “nen echten Duvel” or “a true Devil”. From that day forward the beer has been sold under this name.

DUVEL however, is far more than simply a passion for beer. It is a real passion for good taste. Consequently each year Duvel has instigated collaborations whereby a host of international artists contribute designs revolving around the Duvel glass for the DUVEL COLLECTION. This year sees ELEY KISHIMOTO being chosen to embellish the Duvel glass with their classic Flash print.

The printed EK | Duvel glass when presented in the Flash adorned promotional pack is flanked by two bottles of the gold ale, and looks/is the perfect gift for a connossieur of not only great beer, but also tasteful design.
